Who we are

Turning Passion into Purpose

The Journey of Okie Worm Works

Okie Worm Works was founded by husband-and-wife team, Peter and Tiffani Gustas, with a shared passion for building better soil and making a difference in our community. What started as a home project has grown into a mission-driven small business rooted in sustainability, quality, and giving back.
We never feed our worms food scraps or waste. Instead, we use OMRI-certified organic materials and clean, repurposed inputs—like nutrient-rich materials that would otherwise end up in landfills. This keeps our castings clean and consistent, and helps reduce local waste.

Giving Back

Giving back is at the heart of what we do at Okie Worm Works.

We proudly donate a portion of every pound sold to organizations doing vital work in health and hunger relief:

In the near future, customers will even be able to choose which cause they’d like their purchase to support. For us, it’s about building something that not only improves the soil—but makes a lasting difference in people’s lives.
